Internet and Telephone Voting Opens in Springwater Election

Township of Springwater / October 12, 2018 –  Internet and telephone voting have officially opened in the Springwater Municipal & School Board Election. Qualified electors are able to vote 24/7 from the comfort or their home, office or anywhere with an internet or telephone connection, until the close of Election Day on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 8:00 pm.

Voter Information Letters were mailed at the end of the September and contain a unique ID and PIN to access internet and telephone voting.

Qualified electors who did not receive a Voter Information Letter, or those who received letters containing incorrect personal information, are encouraged to contact the Township of Springwater Clerk’s Department at 705-728-4784 Ext. 2015 or visit the Township Administration Centre (2231 Nursery Road) during regular business hours to make an addition or amendment to the Voters’ List.  

Additions and amendments can also be made by visiting a Voter Help Centre taking place:

Saturday, October 13, 2018 
10:00 am to 2:00 pm 
Hillsdale Elementary School (16 Albert Street E) 


Saturday, October 20, 2018 and Sunday, October 21, 2018 
12:00 to 4:00 pm 
Township Administration Centre (2231 Nursery Road)

Anyone wishing to cast their ballot in person may do on Election Day only, Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at one the three following locations: 

·         Township Administration Centre, 2231 Nursery Road

·         Minesing Community Centre, 2347 Ronald Road

·         Elmvale Arena (Springwater Room), 14 George Street
