Council for the Township of Springwater are committed to providing local primary health care options for the community. To support this commitment, Council opened the Springwater Health Services Centre in July 2011.
The Springwater Health Services Centre is located at 35 Queen Street West in the Knox Building in Elmvale. The direct line to the facility is 705-322-9099. For more information, please call the Township of Springwater at 705-728-4784.
The following services are currently offered at this facility:
LifeLabs Specimen Collection Services
LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services provides laboratory testing services, which help physicians and other healthcare professionals diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent disease in patients.
Mobile specimen collection services are available to anyone with a valid laboratory requisition form. This service is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Appointments are not required.

North Simcoe Family Health Team
The North Simcoe Family Health Team (NSFHT) offers the services of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Dieticians, and Diabetes Educators to rostered patients within the NSFHT. The NSFHT have partnered with the Township of Springwater to offer services one day a week at the Springwater Health Services Centre.
The mobile clinic is open on Thursdays. Appointments are required. To book an appointment, please call the Springwater clinic on Thursdays at 705-322-9099 or the main NSFHT Midland office at 705-526-7804.

North Simcoe Regional Diabetes Program

Staying Healthy with Diabetes
Did you know the North Simcoe Regional Diabetes Program provides monthly outreach programs for adults with Diabetes? We provide individual and group appointments! We are pleased to offer this service to all residents with Diabetes at the Springwater Health Services Centre in Elmvale.
Whether you’re looking to learn more about staying healthy with Diabetes or want to know more about diet, monitoring your blood sugars, or what medications would be helpful for you, our Diabetes Outreach Team can assist you! We are Certified Diabetes Educators, trained to teach you about healthy eating and lifestyle, how to prevent Diabetes complications, and equip you with the knowledge and tools to help you manage your Diabetes.
