Dog Tag License Information
Dog Tags for the year 2010:
To obtain your Dog Tag, please complete the attached form and return it to one of our purchase locations.
Please note: for 2010, Proof of Rabies Vaccination is required.

- BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, IDENTIFICATION OF YOUR DOG SHOULD IT GET LOST!
Please Note:
- Deadline for purchase of tags is June 30, 2010. After that date, a fine of $105 may be imposed
- Tags are not required for Guide Dogs or Police Work Dogs.
- Fee for replacement Tag is $5
- Fee for transfer replacement tag is $5. Proof from previous Municipality required.
- For dogs purchased on or after July 1st (proof of purchase required) tag fee is reduced by 50%.
- New residents shall register their dog within 10 days of moving to Springwater Township.
- Owners of dogs running at large may be fined $105. Please keep your dog tied, leashed or fenced.
- Vicious dogs must be muzzled when outside their owner's property.
