Checklists
Building Checklists
These Checklists have been developed as guides only for most building projects and are not intended to cover every building situation. Where there are checklists for large and small buildings, please note that generally, any building that exceeds three storeys in building height or, has a gross area of 600 m2 (6460 ft2) is considered to be a large building.
Residential Building (>600m2 (6460ft2) and exceeding 3 Dwelling Units)
Residential Building (Exceeding 3 Storeys)
Residential Building - Single Dwelling Units
Requirements for Occupancy Checklists
Checklists for Occupancy are based on the use of the building once it has been completed. For example, if a building is to be used as a retail store, the appropriate occupancy checklist would be for a Mercantile Building; if the building is to be used as a Single Dwelling Unit, the appropriate occupancy checklist would be Residential Occupancy – Single Dwelling Unit.
