A Public Open House was held at the Township of Springwater Administration Centre on November 19th to discuss the installation of a proposed Rogers telecommunications tower. In accordance with the Township process, a report will be forwarded to the Council meeting scheduled for December 14th, 2009 to give Council the opportunity to receive and consider the comments gathered through this process.

You might notice that a few things are different on the Township of Springwater's website lately!
The following changes have been made to the Township of Springwater's website, as part of general website updates. If you can no longer find information you are looking for, please contact us.
- The "Planning Applications" page is now the "Planning Applications and Forms" page.
- The following pages have been moved from the Development heading:
- "Community Profile" moved to Services > Planning & Development
- "Building Services" available under Services> Building Services
- "Official Plan" available under Services > Planning & Development
- "Zoning By-law" available under Services > Planning & Development
- "Business Services" moved to Services > Planning & Development
- The Development heading has been removed.
- The following changes have been made to the Recreation pages which are available under Community:
- Removed "Elmvale Arena", "Parks", "Springwater Provincial Park","Trails" pages and consolidated the information on existing page
- Created 3 headings "Recreation News" "Parks & Recreation related Master Plans" "Registration Forms" on main "Recreation" page
